PostHeaderIcon Why are we not being told the real danger from the oil spill? Benzene and H2S?

Millions are in danger but they don’t even know it and the government has denied leaked reports of plans to evacuate the Tampa Bay region. They are spraying Corexit 9500 all over the gulf coast further poisoning millions of victims.

You snake-oil selling, tin-foil hat wearing, …. oh wait..
He provides links with factual information?
Ouch, cognitive dissonance is giving me a headache..
Do I believe what master tells me, or think for myself?

Mike?? Really!!
H2S:
Long-term, low-level exposure may result in fatigue, loss of appetite, headaches, irritability, poor memory, and dizziness. Chronic exposure to low level H2S (around 2 ppm) has been implicated in increased miscarriage and reproductive health issues among Russian and Finnish wood pulp workers. 2 parts per million is a heavy concentration to you?

Benzene
DNA changes and breaks down at levels as low as 100 parts per billion. Recorded levels by the EPA are over 3000 parts per billion! Also, It is a chemical whose long term exposure is exponentially more dangerous than short term exposure pumping gas.

I don’t know. I guess Obama feels it would further endanger his presidency and the mid-term elections. I’ve read extensively abt the horrible air quality etc and people are quietly moving away. The media will always protect the Liberals and I do want to add that Gerald Celente (top prediction of trends) believes that the major networks will go down in the next couple years. I hope so. I’m tired of their tripe.

Well, Florida and half the gulf usually get wiped out by something every summer. It’s just normally a natural disaster, not a man made one. Maybe it’s a sign.

Thank you for demonstrating what happens when you lack a basic understanding of the sciences.

Hydrogen sulphide is only dangerous at high concentrations (and the smell of the stuff is bad enough that most people will be driven away before it reaches dangerous levels) and you will be exposed to higher concentrations of benzine every time you fill your car up with gas.

Maybe you should be listening to people who know what they are talking about instead.
